Veronica Huber è responsabile del laboratorio di Immunomonitoring e Immune Escape presso l’Unità di Immunologia Traslazionale.
Dopo la laurea in Medicina in Germania, ha intrapreso la carriera scientifica in INT conseguendo il Dottorato di Ricerca e maturando oltre 20 anni di esperienza nel campo dell’immunologia tumorale, con un focus particolare sulle cellule mieloidi soppressorie (MDSC) e sulle vescicole extracellulari.
La sua attività di ricerca si concentra sull’identificazione dei meccanismi immunologici di risposta e resistenza alle terapie, nonché di biomarcatori immunologici rilevabili nella biopsia liquida di pazienti oncologici sottoposti a immunoterapia e ad altri trattamenti antitumorali, in diversi contesti clinici.
