Telemedicine Service

The IRCCS National Cancer Institute Foundation is developing new ways of delivering specialist consultations remotely, also referred to as tele-consultations or tele-visits, which can replace in-person visits at certain stages of the patient's care journey.

The Institute's departments are working to assess which types of services and patients are suitable for tele-visits and are gradually launching pilot programs. The Foundation considers it likely that this will become a standard practice in delivering specialist care and is currently evaluating the necessary organizational procedures.
