The mission is to accurately diagnose and stage neoplastic diseases of the gastrointestinal and biliary-pancreatic tract; treat and monitor pre-neoplastic and non-infiltrating malignant neoplastic conditions, using the most advanced magnification, virtual chromoendoscopy and artificial intelligence techniques. The main objective of this service is to guarantee safe and effective procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, improving the health and quality of patients’life.
Institutional outpatient visits can be booked by calling the phone N.02 2390.1 and are provided everyday at the Facility Outpatient Clinic (Floor 2, Block F). The active outpatient clinics are dedicated to Bilio-Pancreatic Pathologies (Monday), Esophageal Pathologies (Tuesday), Colorectal Pathologies (Wednesday), Gastric Pathologies and Neuro-Endocrine
Tumors (Thursday) and Post-Hospitalization Patients (Friday). Intramoenia private outpatient visits can be booked by calling the phone N. 333.7829383 from 11.00 to 12.00 or by email at endoscopialp@istitutotumori.mi.it and are provided everyday at the Facility Outpatient Clinic. All visits can also be booked by accessing the Institute's website.
- Diagnostic digestive endoscopy: esophagogastroduodenoscopy EGDS, colonoscopy, upper, lower and biliary-pancreatic EUS
- Operative digestive endoscopy: Emergency endoscopy, ERCP, interventional EUS, polypectomies, mucosectomies (EMR), dissections (ESD), PEG / PEGJ, feeding tubes
- Device-assisted and videocapsular enteroscopy
- Ablation of Barrett's esophagus
- Esophageal, duodenal and colonic stents
- Cholangioscopy, pancreatoscopy and electro-hydraulic lithotripsy
- Screening for neoplastic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (colorectal carcinoma)
- Pneumological endoscopy: bronchoscopy, bronchial
- echoendoscopy
- Urological endoscopy: cystoscopy, ureteral stenting, intravesical instillation
