Dr. Cavalcoli Federica Alessandra

Dr. Federica Cavalcoli is a Medical Doctor at the Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy Unit of the IRCCS Foundation National Cancer Institute of Milan, where she has worked since July 2021. She is specialized in digestive endoscopic ultrasound, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, and the care of patients with neuroendocrine tumors and complex gastrointestinal diseases. 

She graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery in 2012 and completed her specialization in Gastroenterology at the University of Milan in 2018. As part of her training, she gained international experience at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital in Dublin, where she conducted research on appendicular neuroendocrine tumors. 

Dr. Cavalcoli is the author or co-author of over 50 international publications and 3 book chapters, with an h-index of 16. She is a member of leading scientific societies, including SIED, ITA.NET, and ENETS. She is also on the Editorial Board of journals such as the World Journal of Gastroenterology and Diagnostic Journal. 

She works within multidisciplinary teams to provide personalized care for patients with colorectal cancers, hereditary gastrointestinal syndromes, and neuroendocrine neoplasms.
