Dr. Guido Valentina

I am a biologist with a Master’s Degree in Experimental and Applied Biology – Molecular Biomedical Sciences, with a Specialization in Clinical Pathology and Clinical Biochemistry. 

From 2016 to 2023, I worked as a Molecular Biologist at the Molecular Pathology Laboratory, ASST Grande Ospedale Metropolitano Niguarda. My work focused on the evaluation of minimal residual disease through the quantification of fusion transcripts in hematological diseases, as well as the assessment of the mutational status of several genes involved in onco-hematological cancers. I actively contributed to the publication of various articles and case reports, all published in international journals, and I participated in several research projects. 

Since 2023, I have been working at the Clinical Laboratory, C.S. Laboratory Medicine, IRCCS Fondazione Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori, where I am head of Clinical Biochemistry and External Quality Assessment area of the laboratory. My responsibilities include clinical-diagnostic activities and support for clinical studies. 

Since 2023, I have also been a member of the Italian Society of Clinical Biochemistry and Clinical Molecular Biology.
