Dr. Ganzinelli Monica

Dr. Monica Ganzinelli holds a Master's Degree in Pharmacogenomic Biotechnology from the University of Milano-Bicocca and a postgraduate Master in Pharmacological Research from the Istituto di Ricerche Farmacologiche Mario Negri of Milan. She has extensive experience in the management of non-profit preclinical and translational research projects, with a strong aptitude for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams of clinicians, statisticians, biologists, and engineers.

She has been Principal Investigator in research projects funded by the Italian Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Italian Association for Cancer Research (AIRC). Currently, she is Principal Investigator of a project focused on the characterization of thymic epithelial tumors and Group Leader in two national and international projects—Apollo11 and I3lung—which focus on patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) undergoing immunotherapy treatment. She is also actively involved in Steering Committees, Executive Boards, and Working Groups of several national and international networks and projects aimed at advancing knowledge in the fields of lung cancer, mesothelioma, and thymic malignancies.

She has also collaborated in the conduction of independent  pharmacological clinical trials, including TAILOR (NCT00637910), STYLE (NCT03449173), PEOPLE (NCT03447678), and RELEVENT (NCT03921671).

She is the author of 85 scientific publications and has an H-index of 26 (Scopus).
