TYME: TYmic Malignancies nEtwork per l’integrazione di dati real world e per la caratterizzazione biologica dei tumori epiteliali del timo

The overall goal of the TYME network is to integrate real-world clinical, radiological, and translational data across Italian cancer centers and hospitals with expertise in the treatment of thymic tumors. The aim is to identify biomarkers—either individually or in combination—across different stages and histologies of thymic neoplasms (thymomas and thymic carcinomas) that can help better understand the biology of these rare malignancies, personalize therapeutic strategies, preserve quality of life by avoiding unnecessary toxicities, and ultimately improve overall patient survival.
