Exploiting Artificial Intelligence-based tools for analysis of clinical breathomics data

Breathomics, which involves the metabolic profiling of volatile compounds in breath, has seen advancements with several mass spectrometry techniques. The goal of this project is to develop analytical tools and AI-based systems to interpret breath data for clinical applications, improving early diagnosis and monitoring of diseases. By exploiting a large database of breath profiles from cancer patients and controls, the project aims to create user-friendly tools and prototypes to facilitate clinical practice and industrial development.
