Dr. Tammaro Pasquale

Specialized in General Surgery  in 2013 at "Federico II" UnivAersity (Naples) directed by Prof. A. Renda. 

My training has two "faces": one Italian, corresponding to the period in which I attended the Endocrine Surgery department at Federico II, directed by Prof. Marzano, the Colorectal Surgical Oncology department of the "Pascale", directed by Dr. Delrio and, finally, the General and Laparoscopic Surgery department of the CDC Santa Lucia in San Giuseppe Vesuviano ( Naples) directed by Dr. Porcelli; the other face is French, and corresponds to the period in which I attended first as a trainee and then as Chef De Clinique (which corresponds to a qualification of University Surgeon in Italy) some of the most prestigious Digestive Surgery departments of the APHP (Public Assistance of the Hospitals of Paris). Subsequently I worked privately in France, before returning to Naples. 

During these last years in Italy, I have dedicated myself "specifically" to the Surgery of Pathological Obesity and to the Oncological Surgery of the digestive system. I have also trained in robotic surgery. I then won the Fellowship in sarcoma surgery established by ISG (Italian Sarcoma Group) which has allowed me to study this rare pathology in depth, first in Florence and now in Milan, and to orient my scientific and research activity - which until then had been based on digestive oncological surgery and bariatric and metabolic surgery - towards this aspect of oncology.
