Dott. Prisciandaro Michele

Dr. Prisciandaro graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Bari in 2014. During his internship, he developed a strong interest in molecular oncology and innovative drugs, leading him to specialize in Medical Oncology at the University of Milan, where he earned his degree with honors in 2020.

During his residency at the IRCCS National Cancer Institute of Milan, he deepened his knowledge of major oncological diseases, focusing particularly on gastrointestinal tumors and completing his thesis on colorectal carcinoma. He furthered his education by obtaining a Ph.D. in Clinical Research in 2021, with a dissertation on immunotherapy for resectable gastroesophageal tumors with high microsatellite instability.

Since 2020, he has been engaged in both clinical practice and translational research at the same institute, working on the treatment and multidisciplinary management of gastrointestinal, neuroendocrine, and biliopancreatic tumors at all disease stages. He participates in clinical trials as a co-investigator and is an author of several scientific publications.

Additionally, he is the co-designer of the LIQUID TRIAL, where he primarily focuses on sample collection and analysis. Through his contributions, more than 100 patients have been enrolled in the study over the past five years.
