Associate Professor Licitra Lisa Francesca Linda

Specialized in Medical Oncology, with experience in the treatment of head and neck tumors. She is Associate Professor at the University of Milan (November 2016-to present), where she teaches Oncology in the Faculty of Medicine and in Master's programs in Biotechnology, Psycho-Oncology, Pharmacology, International Medical School, and the ENT specialty. 

She is Chair of the Medical Oncology 3 Unit – Head and Neck Tumors at the Fondazione IRCCS National Cancer Institute, Milan, Italy. 

She is the Scientific Director of the National Center for Oncological Hadrontherapy (CNAO) (2019-to present). 

She was Vice President of the EORTC (European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer) from 2018 to 2021. She is co-founder and member of the European Head and Neck Cancer Society, a member of the Clinical Editorial Board of Oral Oncology and of the UICC TNM Staging Committee. She is an Honorary Member of ESTRO (European Society of Radiation Oncology) and leads the G7 domain within EURACAN (European Network for Rare Adult Solid Cancer). 

She was awarded the AIRC/FIRC Venosta Prize and received the ESMO Award in 2021 for her work in advancing medical oncology. 

Since March 2024, she has been the Scientific Coordinator of ACC (Alleanza Contro il Cancro). 

She is the author of 411 peer-reviewed journal articles and has an H-index of 75 (Scopus).
