Dr. Corrao Giulia

Giulia Corrao is a radiation oncologist with clinical and scientific expertise in the management of thoracic malignancies. She graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Turin and completed her residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Milan. She trained and worked at the European Institute of Oncology, where she gained experience in the multidisciplinary treatment of thoracic tumors, particularly in the integration of radiotherapy with immunotherapy and targeted agents. Since 2024, she has been working as a medical oncologist at the Thoracic Oncology Unit of the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori in Milan, contributing to the management of patients with lung cancer, mesothelioma, and thymic tumors. She is actively involved in phase I, II, and III clinical trials and in translational research projects aimed at identifying predictive biomarkers and optimizing personalized therapeutic strategies. She is the author of 58 peer-reviewed scientific publications and has presented her work at national and international oncology conferences. A member of AIRO and ESTRO, she combines a solid scientific approach with a strong commitment to multidisciplinary care and patient-centered medicine.
