Dott.ssa Morano Federica

Dr. Federica Morano graduated in Medicine from "Sapienza" University of Rome in 2009. She completed her residency program  in Medical Oncology at the same University in 2015. During her final year, she worked as a clinical research fellow at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in London, focusing on the research and the management of gastrointestinal and neuroendocrine tumors.

Since 2015, Dr. Morano has been working as a medical oncologist and researcher in the Gastroenterological Oncology Unit at the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Turmori di Milano. She serves as principal investigator or co-investigator in numerous Phase I–III clinical trials and has played a key role in designing and managing several academic trials for the treatment of patients with gastrointestinal tumors.

Her contribution to oncology research is documented with more then 100 peer-reviewed publications in international journals.

Additionally, Dr. Morano is a lecturerin the Medical Oncology residency program at the University of Milan. Since 2020, she has been a member of the FICOG (Federation of Italian Cooperative Oncology Group) Young Oncology Working Group and in 2023, she was appointed Regional Councilor for the regional section of AIOM (Italian Association of Medical Oncology) Regione Lombardia.
