Dr. Pioda Arianna

Education:  

Graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Perugia, specialized in Anesthesia, Intensive Care and Pain management at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Currently enrolled in the three-year course for Medical Acupuncturists at the So Wen School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Milan. Has attended IRC and AHA courses (ALS, EPALS, AMLS) and training in ultrasound for locoregional anesthesia. 

Professional Experience: 
Has carried out clinical activities in highly specialized settings (European Institute of Oncology of Milan, IRCCS Humanitas Research Hospital of Rozzano (MI), Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital in Rome). Currently Consultant in Anesthesia and Intensive Care at the IRCCS National Cancer Institute (Milan). 

Scientific Activity: 
Author of a thesis on the impact of psychoactive substances in medical-legal settings in the Perugia area. Author of a specialist thesis on the effectiveness of pulsed radiofrequency (PEMF) in postoperative oncological pain. Involved in studies on the use of acupuncture in oncological patients. Participation in meetings dedicated to the treatment of acute and chronic pain.  

Membership in Multidisciplinary Teams: 
Has worked in multidisciplinary surgical teams (oncological, pediatric, ENT, Urological surgery) in the operating room and intensive care unit.
