Dr. Chiappa Valentina

Dr. Valentina Chiappa graduated with honors in 2008 from the University of Milano-Bicocca, where she later specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2014. From the beginning, her career has focused on ultrasound applied to gynecologic oncology. 

Since 2015, she has been part of the team at Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori in Milan. She is an active member of the leading national and international scientific societies in gynecologic ultrasound. 

In 2021, she joined the Board of Directors of SIEOG (Italian Society of Obstetric and Gynecologic Ultrasound), and in 2024, she was appointed Vice President. She contributed to the drafting of the 2021 national guidelines on ultrasound in obstetrics and gynecology, approved by the Italian National Institute of Health (ISS). 

She was also part of the ISUOG Patient’s Information Task Force, promoting clear and accessible patient education materials for gynecological conditions worldwide. Dr. Chiappa is the author or co-author of over 120 scientific articles in indexed international journals and serves as a peer reviewer for several leading journals. 

Since 2019, she has served as Co-Scientific Director of the MUGO (Milan Ultrasound in Gynecologic Oncology) course, an educational event now in its seventh edition (2025), bringing together international experts in the field of gynecologic oncology ultrasound.
