Dr. Bartolomeo Valentina

I have obtained my degree in 2019 in Catania with a thesis dissertation about the predictive role of tumor microenvironment in patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). 

Then I have attended and completed my residency program in Radiation Oncology in Pavia, defending a final thesis about the in silico comparison of radio-induced lymphopenia in patients with NSCLC in photons vs protons plans. 

During my residency I had the opportunity to join the head and neck group of CNAO center and to do a clinical research fellowship in Maastricht (MAASTRO Clinic) working on a project about oligoprogressive NSCLC. 

No I am currently working in National Cancer Institute in Milan (INT) in Radiation Oncology, taking care of patients affected by NSCLC and sarcomas.
