Dr. Miceli Rosalba

Graduating with honours in Statistical and Economic Sciences from the University of Palermo, she went on to complete her specialisation in Health Statistics and Biometry with top marks at the University of Milan. A biostatistician with over 25 years of experience in clinical oncology research, she is involved in the design of oncology research projects, the development of clinical trial protocols, and the planning of related statistical analyses. She coordinates multidisciplinary research activities and provides statistical consultancy and training. 

She is the coordinator of the “Research Quality and Integrity” group, promoting scientific reproducibility and reliability, and serves as the representative for Gender Medicine at the Italian Ministry of Health and the Lombardy Region on behalf of the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori. She is principal investigator and collaborator in projects funded by the European Union and national institutions. As co-founder of the "OncoGender" group, she promotes inclusion in oncology through multidisciplinary collaborations within and beyond the Foundation. She is a contract lecturer in Medical Statistics at the University of Milan. Author of over 250 publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals, she has an H-index of 66 (Scopus, May 2025).
