Dr. Baili Paolo

Paolo Baili is a statistician specialized in Health Statistics and senior researcher in epidemiology. His experiences in international and national projects include leadership of the European Commission's WASABY project and management, between 2001 and 2011, of the EUROCHIP-1, -2, -3 projects on the discussion and promotion in Europe of data collection of comparable public health indicators in oncology. 

His main area of work to date is data management. 

His activities include, since 2014, the creation and technical management of the institutional clinical breast cancer registry. Since 2019, he has also been responsible for the construction of the Institutional Data Warehouse (DWH) used to identify patients for research studies. The DWH contains data from the following institutional databases: Electronic Medical Records (ECR), RIS (Radiology, Endoscopy, Nuclear Medicine), Surgery, Transfusion, Pathology, Laboratory Analysis, Outpatient Reservation Center, Hospital Discharge Cards, Chemo and Radiotherapy Administration.
