Dr. Maspero Marianna

Marianna Maspero is a RTD-A researcher at University of Milan and a Staff member in the HepatoGastroPancreatic & Liver Transplant Unit. She graduated medical school magna cum laude at Libera Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele and residency at University of Milan. She is autonomous in the clinical and ambulatory management of patients with hepatobiliopancreatic and gastric tumors, as well as in multiorgan procurement and surgical procedures with low-intermediate complexity, with progressive autonomization in procedures with high complexity. She is a member of the multidisciplinary uveal melanoma group, and has created a European registry on the surgical management of liver metastases from uveal melanoma (EUROLIMUM, INT 169/24). 

During residency, she successfully completed a Research Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic (Cleveland, Ohio, USA). She has authored several publications on international peer-reviewed journals on general and transplant surgery. She is involved in numerous research projects, with a particular focus on transplant oncology (ImmunoXXL, COLT, iCOLA, pCOLA, QUALITRAP protocols). She is a tutor and teacher in the General Surgery course of the International Medical School of Milan and holds a course on scientific writing in the General Surgery Residency program of University of Milan.
