Dr. Agnelli Luca

Degree in Biological science in 2000, PhD in Experimental Hematology, previously employed as bioinformatician at the Hematology Unit of the Fondazione IRCCS Ospedale Maggiore in Milan and later at the Department of Hemato-Oncology of the University of Milan, since 2020 he has joined the Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori, where he leads the bioinformatic group of the Department of Diagnostic Innovation. He coordinates the bioinformatics pipelines of the institutional Molecular Tumor Board (MTB) multidisciplinary unit for the management of NGS data and personalized therapy. He is currently involved in the implementation, governance and maintenance of INT’s institutional High-Performance Computing platform.

Involved in a series of national and international research projects, to date he is recipient of the UpSmart Accelerator Award, which served as basis for the development of the PROACT 2.0 tool, a mobile/web app for patient-to-doctor communication. He co-cordinates INT’s Research Line on “Precision Medicine and Technological Innovation”.
