Dr. Pezzoli Isabella

Dr. Isabella Pezzoli graduated in Medicine and Surgery with honors from University of Milan, where she also completed the General Surgery Residency program cum laude. Since the beginning of her residency, she developed a strong interest in oncological hepatobiliary surgery, consolidated during her training period at the Hepato-gastro-pancreatic and Liver Transplantation Surgery Unit. Since 2025, she has been working in this Unit, where she takes part in surgical, outpatient and scientific activities. She is involved in high and medium complexity surgery for primary and secondary diseases of the liver and biliary tract, pancreas, stomach and esophagus. She is proficient in multi-organ procurements from cadaveric donors after brain death (DBD) and after cardiac death (DCD). She is a member of the multidisciplinary group for the treatment of liver metastases from uveal melanoma.  

To increase her expertise, she is currently enrolled in the Postgraduate Course “Advanced Technologies, Therapies and Surgical Techniques in Abdominal Organ Transplantation” at the University of Milan-Bicocca.
