Specialty / Department
  • Anesthesia, Resuscitation, Intensive Care, and Pain Therapy

Since September 2019, after finishing my Residency in Anesthesiology, Intensive Care and Pain Management at the University of Milan, I have been working at the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care of the National Cancer Institute in Milan.

Throughout my clinical practice, I have progressively developed expertise in the perioperative management of minor surgical procedures (breast surgery, plastic surgery, melanoma surgery, and day surgery procedures), intermediate surgical procedures (urology, gynecology, colorectal surgery, ENT, and maxillofacial surgery), and high-complexity major surgeries such as HIPEC, liver transplantation, thoracic surgery, and sarcoma surgery, both in elective and emergency settings.

I have achieved a good level of management of difficult airway and in the use of invasive hemodynamic monitoring. I have also gained experience in the preoperative assessment of oncological patients with various levels of complexity, in both elective and emergency settings.

Since May 2020, I have been part of the vascular team taking part in the placement of medium and long-term central venous catheters. I have developed specific skills in ultrasound-guided vascular access placement in both adult and pediatric patients.

Since February 2024, I have also begun training for management of sedation and general anesthesia for pediatric procedures and surgery.
