Dr. Della Pepa Gianmarco

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome in 2018 and qualified as a specialist in Radiology from the University of Milan in 2023 with top honors, presenting a thesis ranked among the top three of the year. 

During his residency, he gained experience in several hospitals within the University of Milan training network, with a particular focus on breast imaging at the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori in Milan. His training also included a fellowship abroad at King’s College Hospital in London. 

Since 2024, he has been working as a Consultant Radiologist at the Breast Imaging Unit of the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori in Milan, where he is involved in both diagnostic and interventional breast radiology and is an active member of the multidisciplinary Breast Unit team. Since 2023, he has also been collaborating with LILT Milano Monza Brianza in the field of breast cancer prevention. 

He participates in national and international research projects and is a member of the scientific and organizing committees of educational courses. He regularly lectures at national and international conferences and is the author of several peer-reviewed articles published in indexed international journals. He is a member of the Editorial Board of European Radiology Experimental, for which he was awarded “Top Reviewer of the Year” in 2021 and serves as a reviewer for multiple other scientific journals.
