At the beginning of his career he carried out exclusively clinical and laboratory research in the field of human tumor immunology, collaborating on numerous national and international clinical trials, becoming one of the first users of gene therapy in the oncology field. In the transfusion field he introduced a complete organizational restructuring of the immunohematological area, he is responsible for IT updating, training, risk management of the complex SIMT structure introducing the use of the RFID system as a support for transfusion safety extended to all areas of the Foundation. He carries out clinical activities at the Blood Donor Center, the Hematopoietic Stem Cell Collection Unit and the PBM clinic. He is responsible for the Processing Laboratory.
