Dr. Rausa Emanuele

Emanuele Rausa is a Medical Director specialized in colorectal and digestive surgery, with a focus on hereditary cancers. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan with a grade of 110/110 and specialized in General Surgery with the highest honors (70/70). 

He obtained the National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor of General Surgery at the University of Milan (2023-2025), and his surgical training includes significant experiences at renowned institutions both in Italy and internationally, including Meilahti Hospital (Helsinki, Finland), St. Vincent's University Hospital (Dublin, Ireland), as well as an observership at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York in 2024. 

Dr. Rausa is fully autonomous in minimally invasive colon and rectal surgery, applying cuttingedge techniques in the management of colorectal diseases. He has been a tutor for General Surgery residents since 2020, contributing to the training of the next generation of surgeons.
 

He also has extensive experience in scientific research, with over 100 publications in international journals, particularly in the field of colorectal surgery and hereditary cancers. He is currently an active member of several international research groups, such as the PelvEX Collaborative Group and the COVID-CRC study group.
