Clinical Research Assistant at the Chair of Hematology, Dept. of Internal Medicine, University of Genoa Medical School, from 1983 to 1989, then Researcher at the Dept. of Experimental Oncology, Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale Tumori, Milan, directing her studies on immunotherapy and gene therapy of cancer. From 2009 to 2023 Responsible for the Coordination of clinical scientific activities of the Scientific Directorate and afferent structures (s.s. Grant Office and Research Services; s.s. Clinical Trials Center) and Scientific Contact for Technology Transfer activities. From September 2023 Deputy Scientific Director for the Management and Operations Area with permanent signing authority for the Scientific Director. Responsible for the planning and coordination of scientific activities of the research areas, and of the staff of the offices and structures related to the Scientific Directorate; Responsible for the Scientific Directorate in relations with the General, Administrative and Health Directorates and with the Presidency. Author of 65 papers in peer reviewed journals and 10 book chapters (H-Index 33).
