Cancel an Appointment

If you cannot attend an appointment for visits or exams, please remember to cancel your booking at least 2 working days before the scheduled date.
Cancellation is important because it:

  • frees up a spot for another patient who, like you, needs the same visit or service;
  • helps reduce waiting lists;
  • allows for better services, benefiting all citizens.

In accordance with Legislative Decree no. 124 of 29/04/1998 and Decree Law no. 73 of 07/06/2024, converted into Law no. 107 of 29 July 2024, to avoid paying the ticket cost—even if you are entitled to an exemption—cancellations of appointments must be made at least 2 working days in advance and, in any case, as soon as you are certain you cannot attend the appointment.
