Dr. Capri Giuseppe

Dr. Giuseppe Capri graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pavia and specialized in Oncology at the University of Milan. He works as an Oncologist at the IRCCS Foundation, National Cancer Institute, where he has spent many years managing Phase I studies in Oncology. Currently, he is the director of the Simple Structure of Medical Senological Oncology. In this role, he is responsible for the care and research related to breast cancer, as well as for clinical-organizational activities within the department. 

He is involved in the clinical management, supervision, organization, and drafting of care pathways (PDTA) for breast carcinoma within the Breast Unit. He also oversees the organizational setup of outpatient clinics and manages and organizes training events for oncologists and residents in the Senological Medical Oncology Department. 

Furthermore, he is responsible for the multidisciplinary outpatient clinic within the Breast Unit of the INT Foundation dedicated to breast cancer treatment, which serves patients at diagnosis, post-surgical patients, and those with metastatic disease. 

He conducts daily clinical activities both in the Outpatient Clinics of the Senological Oncology Department and within the Multidisciplinary Outpatient Clinic, where he personally manages and supervises the clinical activities of the medical staff. 

In addition to his clinical work, he is engaged in scientific research related to breast cancer and manages clinical studies across all phases on breast tumors. For years, he has focused on managing Phase I clinical trials in Oncology. 

He has participated as a speaker at conferences on breast pathology and is author or co-author of publications in national and international journals as well as book chapters in oncology.
