Board of Auditors

The Board of Auditors is appointed by the Director of the Foundation. It consists of three members appointed as follows: one by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, one by the Ministry of Health, and one by the President of the Lombardy Region. The members of the Board serve a three-year term and may be reappointed.

The Board serves as the Foundation’s accounting oversight body and, in particular:

• reviews the Foundation’s financial management;
• monitors compliance with the law;
• verifies that accounting records are maintained properly and that the financial statements conform to the entries in the books and accounting records;
• conducts periodic cash audits.

The current Board of Statutory Auditors consists of:
