Studi clinici a cui partecipa la radioterapia:

Tumori della testa e collo:

  1. A phase I/II study of concurrent Pemetrexed, Cetuximab, and radiation therapy with or without cisplatin in patients with locally advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck; 6 patients enrolled.
  2. A phase II randomized trial of chemoradiation with or without Pamitumumab in subjects with unresected, locally advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck; 5 patients enrolled.
  3. P53 prognostic value in oropharyngeal cancer treated with radiotherapy or radio-chemotherapy.

Tumori pediatrici:

CNS tumors:

  1. Prospective randomized controlled trial of hyperfractionated versus conventionally fractionated radiotherapy in standard risk medulloblastoma – SIOP PNET 4; enrollment closed and analysis underway.
  2. Hyperfractionated-accelerated radiotherapy and high-dose sequential chemotherapy for patients with metastatic medulloblastoma.
  3. Diagnosis and treatment of childhood ependymomas: 2nd AIEOP co-operative study. 4. Sequential chemotherapy, high-dose thiotepa with CPC rescue followed by radiotherapy for childhood high-grade gliomas. Neuroblastoma.
  4. High-risk neuroblastoma: Study 1 of SIOP-Europe Wilms' tumor
  5. 3rd AIEOP co-operative protocol for Wilms' tumor. Soft-tissue sarcomas. Two new protocols developed by the European pediatric Soft Tissue Sarcoma Group (Ep-STSG).

Bone tumors.

  1. Non-metastatic and high-risk Ewing's family tumors: AIEOP/ISG-SSG III and IV Treatment Protocols. Paziente oncologico anziano:

  1. ACC1 WP4/4: valutazione geriatrica multidimensione e care giver nel paziente in età uguale o superiore ai 70 anni affetto da tumore e che fa radioterapia presso RT 1
